You Can Learn How To Play Guitar Online
When I was about 13 years old, I can remember very clearly playing air guitar to my favourite songs and being totally engrossed in it. It took me to an imaginary world. I am sure many people have felt the same way. In fact I know they have, because, I have seen it many times when I have been in a club or a bar. Or even on the street.
It never fails to bring a smile to my face, and this is the sign that the person playing air guitar has a desire to learn how to play the guitar. I have no doubt about this, and it also applies to any instrument. We owe it to ourselves to find a way to learn guitar. If you have the desire to learn you are half way there to succeeding. You could learn with books, a tutor or, why not learn how to play guitar online.
Personally I had to start to learn with books. Then I had two lessons with a tutor, where I learnt next to nothing, but that is because I failed to find the right tutor because I could not afford one. I also wanted to learn guitar scales which he never really taught me properly.
What do I mean by this?
I discovered online lessons.
All you need is a computer and an internet connection. My playing and knowledge improved dramatically, and I know that it can work for you too, it’s so convenient. I have actually written some songs, now that I am able to play guitar. That has been very satisfying for me and you could do the same with easy guitar songs to learn.
We all need to get creative with the talents we have. So if you are reading this, I believe you have the talent to learn guitar because you’re interested in learning. I love online video lessons because you feel you’re actually in the same room as the teacher. It’s difficult to put into words just how great learning has become. You just click a link and the video opens right there on your screen.
You can learn in the comfort of your own home and it’s just like having a private instructor right there with you. I find it a bit lonely sometimes learning on my own. But with a tutor talking to you from the video it’s like you’re in the room with him/her, which I really enjoy!
There is no doubt that mixing with other guitarists will really help you improve and that is something that should always be continued. But learning guitar online is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. How cool is that? Very cool and very powerful. You can learn in the comfort of your own home and it’s just like having a private instructor right there with you.
I find it a bit lonely sometimes learning on my own. But with a tutor talking to you from the video it’s like you’re in the room with him/her, which I really enjoy! If you’re traveling and have an internet connection you can continue to learn wherever you are because technology has now given us a new way for us to learn and you can take advantage of this when it comes to learning the guitar. You can learn with online lessons that teach you all about guitar chords with easy to learn guitar songs and a teacher that guides you through the process.
It was easier than struggling alone with books and I felt comfortable with my learning because I could learn at my own speed. When I arrived at something I already knew I could just fast forward it. However, when I ran into something that I needed to spend more time on, like the pentatonic scale all I had to do was rewind and watch it again until that section was mastered. Well this is the great thing about learning guitar online, it’s always there. I am a big fan of online guitar lessons and only wish they had come along sooner. I fully support online lessons because they truly helped me learn how to play and all for one low monthly fee.
You can learn your favourite songs, guitar theory, learn guitar scales or even just guitar for beginners. Maybe you want to learn more advanced stuff, well that’s there too.
I would just like to say to you, that when you first start learning those first chords, you will find that your fingers just don’t do what you want them to do. Well, look at it like this . . . Your fingers have never had to do those kinds of things before. So don’t expect them to do what you want straight away. All you need to do is train them for a while and they will start to do what you want. I promise you that.
I am sure you know this already, but when you learn something new it takes training of the mind and the part of our body that is needed to accomplish the task. It is not difficult so please let that guitar player emerge from within. Not only is the learning curve great fun, but there are also thousands of songs that are relatively easy to play so it continues to be great fun.
I’ve spent some happy hours jamming at parties entertaining my friends and people I didn’t even know, they love it. One of the great things about the guitar is that you can take it with you wherever you go. In fact I very rarely leave home without it.

As Always . . . Good Luck!
